Michael Willers is a co-founder of devcoach® ( http://www.devcoach.com), a company that supports and accompanies customers in projects with the Microsoft® .NET platform all through from architecture to deployment.
Michael has a strong emphasis on service-orientation (SOA), agile methodologies and processes, the web, data access and security.
 
He is a recognized expert in the SOA-field and plans and realizes distributed systems on the Microsoft platform since many years. Michael is one of the early Windows Communication Foundation (WCF) experts and was a member of the technical adoption program for the Microsoft Corporation.
 
For the federal office for security in information technology of the German government he was the project lead for a security analysis on the topic Microsoft .NET Framework 3.0 and has written practice-proven guidelines for the daily work with WCF with Daniel Fisher. As experts for the topic “SOA with .NET” they traveled through Europe to discuss the requirements of architects from all over the world and help them implement solutions.
 
Michael is developing software since 1989 (since 1999 on the .NET platform) and has worked several years on projects as a developer, architect, project lead and consultant for insurance companies, distributors, mobile communications hardware, construction supplies and various other companies of different branches.
 
He has been working as a technical consultant for Microsoft (http://www.microsoft.com) and introduced the .NET Framework and ASP.NET to the german developer community.
 
He is actively contributing to the software developer community as co-founder of JustCommunity e.V. ( http://www.justcommunity.de), organizer of the biggest regional community event, and lead of a user group.
 

Michael Willers ist Mitbegründer der Firma devcoach®( http://www.devcoach.com), die Unternehmen beim Einsatz der Microsoft® .NET Plattform in konkreten Projekten vom Design bis zum Deployment ganzheitlich unterstützt und begleitet. Im Mittelpunkt seiner Arbeit stehen Service-Orientierung (SOA), agile Methoden und Prozesse, das Web, Datenzugriff und Sicherheit.
 
Er ist ein ausgewiesener Experte im Web-Umfeld und plant und realisiert seit mehreren Jahren verteilte Systeme auf der Microsoft Plattform. Michael ist einer der Windows Communication Foundation (WCF) -Experten der ersten Stunde und war Mitglied im Technical Adoption Program der Microsoft Corporation. Als verantworlicher Projektleiter hat er für das Bundesamt für Sicherheit in der Informationstechnik (BSI) gemeinsam mit Daniel Fisher eine umfangreiche Sicherheits-Analyse durchgeführt und praxiserprobte Leitfäden für den Umgang mit WCF im Projektalltag entwickelt. Als Experten zum Thema „SOA mit .Net“ bereisten sie im Auftrag von Microsoft den europäischen Kontinent, um bei Workshops mit Architekten aus aller Welt deren Anforderungen zu diskutieren und bei der Implementierung von konkreten Lösungen zu beraten.
 
Michael entwickelt seit 1989 Software (seit 1999 auf der .NET Plattform) und verfügt über Projekterfahrung als Entwickler, Architekt, Projektleiter und Berater aus den Branchen Versicherung, Großhandel, Mobilfunk und Bankwesen.
Er war Technischer Berater bei Microsoft (http://www.microsoft.com) und hat in dieser Funktion die Einführung des .NET Frameworks und ASP.NET in Deutschland in zahlreichen Projekten geplant und begleitet.
 
Er ist Mitgründer der JustCommunity e.V. (http://www.justcommunity.de), dem Veranstalter des größten regionalen Community-Events für Software-Entwickler und IT-Professionals.
