Founding member of senior management team for a rapidly growing beverage company, which is one of the fastest growing, natural, “ready to drink” tea companies in the US. As fourth employee of the company, played an integral role in creating the company’s core infrastructure and building Sweet Leaf Tea from a small, locally distributed product, to a nationally recognized brand. Helped position company for significant, strategic partnership and investment from Nestle, USA.

Built a network of early stage, high net worth investors into the largest “Angel” Network in Texas and one of the largest in the United States. As the sole employee of the organization, created the operational structure, built/executed the marketing/PR plan, recruited members, and attracted sponsorship support.

Managed a portfolio of start-ups for a Houston-based, business “incubator”. Worked with entrepreneurs to develop business plans, launch strategies and investor communications. Developed a “mentor” network and a service provider network to provide companies with resources to help them build their brands. Interfaced regularly with high profile members in the Houston community, including quarterly presentations to the HTC Board of Directors, which included CEO's from Houston-based, multinational corporation

Worked with partnership fund in Madrid, Spain, to source, vet and perform due diligence for potential investment targets for a $30 million, Spain-based investment fund. Traveled regularly to Spain to meet with/evaluate potential investment targets.
