My research focuses on the study of spin-caloric phenomena in ferromagnet/normal-metal systems for sensor and other applications. The investigations of spin dynamics in thin films and nanodevices are carried out using both optical (Brillouin light scattering, MOKE) and microwave techniques. The objective of the project was to study the RF modulation of spin currents in non-local spin valve nano-devices. We designed and fabricated nano-devices and observed their spin-current dynamics using nano-four-point-probe systems.
