Dr. Morgane Benade

I work at Refurbed as a UX Researcher. Refurbed is an e-commerce company that sells renewed electronic devices across Europe. I conduct generative and evaluative UX research projects, which aim at improving the UX of the current pages of the website so as in the development of a new product by using methods such as usability testing, interviews, customer journey, benchmarking or survey.

I worked at the Universität Leipzig / Fraunhofer IMW, a research center focused on conducting research and proposing their services to industrials in digital innovation. I conduct two UX research projects, which aim at improving the UX of the mainstream customers for the IoT-based platforms such as the app "IFTTT". Within these projects, I use a mix of qualitative and perceptual quantitative methods.

ARTTIC Innovation belongs to the PNO Group, one of the largest consulting companies for publicly funded innovation projects. I managed three innovation projects of the H2020 / FET programs of the EU, one of them being a consortium of more than 40 partners Europe-wide. It consisted of managing, planning, coordinating these projects, ensuring that all contractual objectives were met and that all deliverables were submitted so as working on my own work packages i.e., crafting a business model.

CGS Mines ParisTech is a research center which conducts research and proposes services to industrials in innovative / creative design. I developed from scratch and conducted a bi-national UX research project between France and Germany that aimed at mixing their qualitative and quantitative methods so as initiated a research partnership between the two research centers, that are, Mines ParisTech and RWTH Aachen.

I worked at TIME RWTH Aachen, a research center, which collaborates closely with the industry. The focus is on customer-centric processes to develop new offerings, UX research and digital innovation. I oversaw a regionally funded project in UX to develop an app for the telecommunication industry and was actively engaged in the development of its interface design. I conducted various joint UX research across industries by using focus group, survey, user testing, and other innovative methods.

Bombardier Transportation is a Canadian railway company, which strives to create high-quality mobility solutions worldwide. I aimed at developing a measurement scale to assess the complexity of this large organization through a series of interview with the vice-presidents of Bombardier Transportation and a collaboration with Cranfield University that I initiated.

I was a student consultant at Novartis Consumer Health, a global healthcare company, which develops and manufactures over-the-counter products to patients. Within a multicultural team, we conducted a market research in phytopharmaka products and then developed and presented a market entry strategy to Novartis Consumer Health´s innovation team.

I was a student consultant at Arthur D. Little, a management consultancy that links strategy, innovation, and technology to ensure success for their clients. Within a multicultural team, we benchmarked and did a best practice´s analysis of incubators in Sweden, Canada, and Singapore. Our results were integrated in the book “Incubators of the World” published by Arthur D. Little´s team.

Sagem Défense Sécurité belongs to “SAFRAN”, a French industrial group that is present in the fields of space, aeronautics, and defense. I developed and conducted experiments to improve the manufacturing process of accelerometers, managed a three-person team so as adjusted daily their planning for the manufacture of prototypes of new accelerometers within missiles.
