During the research internship, I performed the following tasks: Title: Production of hydrogen through methane pyrolysis which will be used as a carbon free fuel 1) Implementation of the model of falling film reactor is Ansys FluentR 2) Checking the stability of falling film with the maximum throughput 3) Adaption of the model and parametric study for a rotating reactor

During the work I was respomsible for the following tasks: 1) Absorption,extraction,distiallaton performed on a lab scale to produce PAP, a pharmaceutical raw material 2) Construction of a process flow diagram 3) Responsible for pilot plant design to produce PAP 4) Project coordinator for the pilot plant 5) Working on analysis techniques like GC,HPLC,Column chromatography

Design for a pilot plant to produce MPDSA was carried out National Chemical Laboratory (CSIR) ,Pune. Following tasks were implemented during the project. -Mass & Energy balance for catalytic hydrogenation -Reactor design for a sulphonator and reactor of catalytic hydrogenation -Calculation the quantity of catalyst required for the catalytic hydrogenator -Evaluation of total capital investment, payback period & rate of return
