Group risk, control and conformance role Led the data collection, vetting, validation and documentation for risk sections within the Barclays PLC 2013-2016 year-end results announcement and the Annual Report. Led integration and governance for external bankwide requests such as PRA FDSF / STDF for retail portfolios, working with the central FDSF programme team to provide guidance on data quality, completeness and trends.

Led the nascent debit cards fraud analytics team for UK, putting into place comprehensive monitoring for Falcon, RSA online verification tool, and offline tools Grew the team from 2 members to 5 over six months through a rigorous screening and hiring process. Onboarded 2 new members during my stint with focus on transferring technical skills and aiding them to develop strong working relationships with onshore partners Focused on training, development and recruitment for the wider analytics team.

Led strategic recommendations within DFS collections. Delivered process improvements using comprehensive net income metric, combining cure and stabilization rates, collectability, net charge-off, placement cost and post charge-off information. Supported periodic changes in DFS fraud rules and measured capture rates as well as false positive information; maintained a learning model based on CHAID decision tree rules, and prioritized the fraud verification queues.

Responsible for maintaining the 5-year NPV model for credit card accounts acquired through the non-prescreened channel. This involved 60 month forecasts for purchases, payments, delinquency and charge offs. Supported initiatives for managing value proposition change, especially bonus miles offers, using test reads for response behavior, breakage and cost.
