Responsible for a team working on image processing algorithms for autonomous driving.

I lead a team of twelve. Together we develop image analysis algorithms and support clinical validation of medical software applications. I am responsible for the algorithms in a radiation therapy and an oncology diagnostic software applications. My areas of expertise include image registration, software development, technical project management. I see my goal in improving efficiency of clinical workflows in hospitals and making patient care affordable to everyone worldwide.

My main responsibilities included development of software prototypes for clinical validation of image post-processing algorithms. I was the main developer of the adaption and simplification of an existing complex testing framework to the needs of our team as well as was responsible for all questions around DICOM. The latter covered further development of a common DICOM reader/importer tool to be used inside the team as well as with external customers.
