Dedicated Outplacement Consultant & Regional Director with this leading European Outplacement Consultancy & member of the AOCF (The association of Outplacement Consulting Firms). Hired by Drs. Francis Claessens personally, to evangelize the German market & start up the Munich Branch-office. Training received by leading New York outplacement specialist (J. J. Gallagher Associates), enabled me to conduct, both individual and group outplacement assignments, across a range of industries, in English or German.

The task was to use my team building skills and successful commercial experience and spearhead the expansion program. I joined this High-Tech recruitment consultancy in the UK and then relocated to Munich, establishing the German Branch-office from scratch. Focusing on semiconductor manufacturers aiming to start-up operations within Germany we quickly became established. Later I also added software vendors and the communication industry and the region became a significant contributor within the group.

SCR was part of the IT services group Speciality Computer Holdings (SCH) - but ceased trading in 1990 following a management buyout. I was based in London, within the internationally operating IT recruitment team, with offices throughout the UK and in the Netherlands and Belgium. By successfully managing high value recruitment assignments fronted by client-paid advertising campaigns – I was promoted to manage and expand a small team.

This business unit was part of the SOS Bureau Group, which was acquired by Hestair Management Services in 1975 and later sold to Rentokil-Initial. The team in London focused on permanent and temporary staffing across the engineering, professional and construction industries.
