Pierre Lestienne

Located in the Mediterranean Sea off the coast of Gruissan in the Aude region, the EolMed project consists in the installation of three wind turbines of individual capacities of 10 MW, installed on floating foundations more than 15 km from the shore and anchored at an average depth of 55 meters. Project is under development.

Nordsee One GmbH is a company set up to develop the 332 MW Norsdee One offshore wind farm around 45 km from the coast in the German North Sea. Nordsee One GmbH is currently owned by Northland Power Inc. (NPI) and RWE Innogy GmbH. Project development under its finalization, construction expected for 2015-2017.

Pierre joined RWE Innogy to futher develop the Norsdee One offshore wind farm and make it bankable and attractive for investors. As Project Director (Finance), main focus was the redefinition of the risk and procurement strategy, the project financing preparation and the M&A process. Deal with Northland Power Inc. for an acquisition of 85% of the shares was signed on the 4th of September 2014.

C-Power NV is a Belgian company which stands for the development and implementation of an offshore wind farm on the Thornton Bank, 27 to 30 km in the North Sea (325 MW in total). Closed the financing of the second and third phases (25/11/2010). A group of 7 commercial lenders together with export credit agencies Euler-Hermes of Germany and EKF of Denmark, and the European Investment Bank (EIB) provided between them facilities totaling EUR 1,007 M.
