Direct trading of financial derivatives on power (forwards, futures, and options) in main European markets. Manage negotiations with brokers, exchanges, and counterparts. Conduct market analysis using technical analysis and fundamental analysis in order to predict where market will move and orchestrate appropriate positions. Create models in order to valuate complex products and implement them using Matlab, Excel, and Access.
Led multi-located team of 5–6 people in Madrid, 2 in Seville, and 4–5 developers in India. Directed project management tasks, including effort estimation and release management. Provided requirement gathering with client (on-site or remotely), functional design, technical design, implementation (coding and unit tests), end-to-end tests, and support. Ran interviews with clients, elaborated working documents, and verified them in order to move forward.
