Über mich
I am the Head of Core Experience in the SAP Business Technology Platform Foundational Plane, responsible for BTP Cockpit, BTP CLI and some BTP Neo core services. My interests range from cloud-native technology and agile development to user experience. In my free time I spend time with my family in the house & garden and optimize the smart home built around a central hub running with OpenHAB. I like sports and started to play wheelchair basketball in Heidelberg last year (it has a classification system that allows also people without a physical disability to join the team). And last but not least I'm into flight simulation with MSFS2020 to cope with my never fulfilled childhood dream to become an airline pilot.

SAPI lead a cross-functional team of developers, architects, product owners, scrum masters, quality engineers and UX designers. We build the foundation that enables internal stakeholders to create superior experiences for SAP customers. I support my employees to unleash their potential in current roles and encourage them to grow into new roles. With my strategic leadership I empower the team to create desirable, robust, secure and compliant solutions.
After being the team architect for two years I changed into the product owner role for the HTML5 application runtime in the SAP Cloud Platform product. As one of the most used services in the platform, we faced stability issues due to the constantly increasing usage. The team was staffed with additional developers, so that we could increase our focus on scalability and resilience aspects, making our internal stakeholders and critical customers happy again.
