Über mich
I am a sociologist and social anthropologist. My research interests include studies on belonging, home, and socio-economic and environmental change. My field of expertise is the Himalayan region of India, focusing on the Union Territory of Ladakh. Apart from this, I have conducted research on entomophagy in Madagascar and Myanmar. For my master's thesis, I worked for 6 months in McLeod Ganj/India. I use predominantly qualitative data gathering and analysis methods, especially narrative/semi-structured interviews and participatory observations. Lately, my professional interest has extended to User Experience (UX) Research, an area where I hope to gain more working knowledge.
