Simon Franke

During my internship in process engineering, I was able to fully develop my potential in the analysis and evaluation of production plants and gain valuable insights. Based on this knowledge gain, I create added value for the company and gain valuable practical experience in consulting and implementation in the field of plant engineering.

As an intermediary of my university and their international students I was responsible for their integration into German daily life and the communication with the official bodies of the university. Therefor I arranged various events like company tours on a voluntary basis to get an inside view of German business companies but also to get together and to learn about the local culture.

During my internship, I was quickly given responsibility for projects that went beyond my own area of expertise. I supported the entire life circle from purchasing to production and sales. As part of the sales activities, I also developed a social media strategy and implemented the first campaigns on Instagram and Snapchat.

Even as a schoolboy I attached great importance to being independent and therefore originally began to work part-time as a waiter. Due to my reliability and customer orientation, I was promoted to bar manager and finally earned the position as head waiter being responsible for staff scheduling, daily accounting and supply of all necessary goods.

After successfully graduating in 2018, I decided to travel to New Zealand to get the work and travel experience. In order to improve my English I constantly worked in different fields of businesses from service to wine- growing and opening new distribution channels to Germany.
