Responsible for all Supply Chain Management duties including carrier selection, inbound and outbound domestic and international shipments. Strategically plan and manage logistics, warehouse, and customer services. Supervise workforce, coordinate with warehouse, production, finance & customer service department to optimise shipping technique, routing, internal transport capabilities and external carriers, organise and process the shipments. Develop KPI to assess performance, ensure company policies are met.

Liaison with fast forwarders, carriers and customers in coordination of bulk, liquid cargo transportation with focus on European and African market. Plan multi-modal transport activities to ensure efficiency is maintained. Forecasting of ISO tanks to ensure sufficient volume of tank-containers to satisfied customer demand, and in the same time minimize storage and handling costs of the various containers on the way. Handle delivery issues or provide line manager and supervisor issue resolutions.

I obtain carrier quotes, review costs and services, and recommend alternatives. Integrate with third party and warehousing to update status on delivery. I plan routing and container movement within Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, assigning tasks and controlling personnel and costs. I have established key performance indicators for drivers, and set milestones for performance improvements. I follow through to ensure a high degree of customer satisfaction
