Sonya Kinsey

Grade Two Homeroom Teacher at Christian School Kandern. My duties include teaching English as mother Tongue and Partner language, Science and Social Studies and Art.

I currently supervise the phonology laboratory for the English Department. My duties include maintaining the website, signing out equipment and teaching students how to use various programs.

One semester of teaching the Doing Linguistics tutorial under my dissertation supervisor, consisting of eaching once per week, assigning projects and grading.

Kindergarten and nursery teacher for various groups at a private Kita and Kindergarten in Frankfurt. worked with children from ages 6 months to 5 years.

I did my Master's internship at a Nachilfinstitute. I taught private and group lessons, ages 4-18, and taught at the holiday English camps. I also translated the company website from German to English.

Kindergarten home room teacher, in an English immersion Kindergarten. I was responsible for extensive cirriculum materials as well as developing arts and crafts, and material for plays.

I was a homeroom Kindergarten teacher, in an English Immersion kindergarten. I was responsible for teaching and developing curriculum materials. I also acted a mentor to newly arrived expat teachers and advised the school owner, as the school was brand new.

I taught a 40 hr work week, teaching English immersion kindergarten and Gr. 1-12 tutoring in ESL.

I was responsible for managaing the print lab at the Alberta College of Art and Design, overseeing the usage of etching, lithography, silkscreen and other printmaking studios after regular classroom hours, alongside the regular print tech and when he was sick.
