Über mich
I am a biochemical engineer with an interdisciplinary education in the fields of biotechnology, chemical engineering and materials science with broad research experience on the laboratory, pilot and industrial scale. I have a great passion for understanding process mechanisms combining biological, chemical and engineering aspects with the aim to optimize processes in terms of their productivity and stability. Besides formal education and work, I am dedicated to nutrition science and exploring the effects that different macro- and micronutrients have on human health by taking into account not only metabolic pathways, but also the influence of food on the gut microbiota and consequently on the whole body and health disorders.
