Consultant to a startup China Real Estate Investment Funds (China strategy; INREV compliant risk/dd/corp-gov & SOP manuals; preparation of PPM; fund raising); market-Entry strategy for a large US mid-end fashion brand.

Specialised fund manager of shopping centres with 35 centres currently under management in Europe, to establish the Pradera China Retail Fund, focusing on shopping centres in Chinese second tier cities. Tasks involved asset sourcing, marketing of the Pradera brand & fund raising.

Established employer's recognition & customer base, provided mortgage loans to top 15 Chinese national developers & international investors/funds with a team of 4 + 3 in Underwriting. Task involved extensive travelling in China, analysis of 75-95 proposals p.a., networking & negotiations in Chinese. 2004-08 approved 22 projects in 13 locations in China.

Responsible for establishing a branch structure in the newly opened office, structuring non-recourse medium term US$-development-loans to major Chinese developers; tasks included project analysis, inspection of sites, feasibility studies, cashflow-projections, preparation of credit applications to Head Office in Dublin, loan documentation & progress monitoring as well as all aspects of office management.

After extensive trainee-programme in central credit departments appointments a) in the global project finance department (industry, telecommunications, energy, environment); b) as account manager for upscale corporate customers in Baden Württemberg; c) as of 1999 Product Manager & “stellvertretender Abteilungsdirektor” for closed end funds. Responsible for 19 of 26 products (13 property funds, 4 ships, 2 specialty funds) & 70% of Euro 24m fee income income from closed end funds of HVB by 2003.

First Far-Eastern venture of the world's leading stainless steel scrap processor ELG Haniel. Responsible for US$12 Mio. creditline, negotiations with banks, auditors, lawyers & insurance companies, handling of all financial aspects of international purchasing & sales of stainless steel scrap to mills in Taiwan, Korea & Japan, internal reporting and administration & local personnel (17 employees).

Repeated appts. as interpreter/responsible person for delegations from twin-city Shanghai.

Employed to become chief representative of the international steel trading house NCCC in Asia, trained in trading and export settlement, day-to-day marketing, sales and purchasing of steel worldwide, all modes of documentary payment and shipment of goods.
