At SwissBytes I get to do many different roles. Presenting project proposals to potential clients, requirement analysis for projects about to start, project management and coordination on existing projects and when necessary handling the recruiting of new talent, it all is part of the day to day at SwissBytes.

At Thoughtworks I was part of a number of different projects ranging from automated testing, to maintaining / extending / upgrading existing applications for a number of clients in Australia, Brazil and the United States.

IRC developed their own internal software to model and simulate flow systems using a Monte Carlo simulation approach. I was Technical Lead for the extension and support of this software. We worked closely with the risk engineers to continually extend and adapt the simulation engine always keeping in mind the speed and memory usage of the tool to allow bigger and more complex models to be handled.

At Tieline I worked as part of a team delivering a Java Enterprise application for viewing / recording /archiving live audio and video streams.

At the time I joined they were in the process of migrating from Delphi to Java. I was part of the team that migrated the core legacy components to the new programming environment later leading the migration of all the UI library components.
