Vince Veras

In 2016 I shifted my role in Arquipélago, to focus on UI and Graphic Design. As a Graphic Designer, I created the branding for 30+ new startup companies, in Brazil, Europe, and the USA. As a Web Designer, I was a pioneer of using no coding tools such as Elementor to develop websites for over 40 companies, on a reduced timeframe, saving them 60% of the average industry time. I'm currently focusing my work on User Interface Design, having just completed an immersion UI Design program at Career Foundry.

Planned and oversaw the production of several cultural and entertainment events for the customers of Shopping Iguatemi, the biggest mall in Porto Alegre, Brazil. Responsibilities and roles involved creative planning and developing events, budget and schedule controlling, developing, hiring, and supervising different kinds of suppliers, such as musicians, photographers, food and drinks providers, artists, cleaning crew, security, fire marshalls, sound and light technicians, promoters, architects, and more.

Main roles involved handling the agencies’ clients, hiring and managing freelancers, overseeing suppliers, budget forecasting, planning, and creative coordination. • Coordinated the brand design and launch of Tag Livros, the biggest book subscription club in Brazil, with over 50.000 active subscribers.

Responsibilities: managing clients’ accounts, overseeing budgets and communication strategies, coordinating the workflow with the teams inside the agency, handling projects’ schedules and deadlines. Highlights: • Supervised the agency team who created a virtual rally game that used Google Maps API, designed to enhance the online awareness of the client’s sponsorship of an off-road rally in Brazil's northeastern region.

Main Project: handling Olympikus account, the biggest Brazilian sports shoe manufacturer. Responsibilities included dealing with other agency departments, daily overseeing the final diagramming and proofing of ads, writing reports, controlling invoices, and organizing the flow of the chores inside the agency.

Main Project: client liaison, analyzing and reporting on the performance of the 5 sponsors of the Viajeaqui travel website, the first 100% digital project from Abril Publishing Group, which was at the time mainly a print company.

Main Project: handling Renner account, the biggest clothing chain in Brazil. Tasks involved working with other agency teams, overseeing and approving final diagramming of ads, writing reports, and controlling invoices.
