Global Responsibility for the Intellectual Property (Patents) of Siemens IT Solutions (SIS). Innovationmanager for the Software Development Division within SIS.

Responsible for resource delivery to projects and managing a team of approx. 70 employees, partly from Austria and Slovakia. Part of the strategic development of media business with broadcasters, telephone companies and internet service providers.

Driving Innovation and Technology Roadmaps for a business segment at Siemens (approx. 900 employees). Austrian representative in the worldwide Siemens Innovation Network. Responsible for managing and coordinating innovations and technology strategy.

IPR Manager for Siemens COM and Nokia Siemens Networks. Leader of an IPR (patents) investigation team at Siemens. Responsible for performing worldwide awareness and invention workshops for innovative projects at COM/NSN. Investigating and scanning for competitive IPRs related to these projects.

Leader of a succesful expert team in the Broadband IP Access Area for Siemens Communications. Part of the System Engineering Group. Active member of the Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF) standardization in L2TP and AAA solutions. Siemens internal consultant for TCP/IP solutions in Enterprise, Mobile and Public Networks Area. Specification of the IP Transport part of a Siemens WiMAX solution. Presentation of Siemens solutions at several conferences (e.g. WindForum).

Austrian leader in the specification of electronic interlocking units. Co-ordinated German and Austrian project activities. Participated in the safety certification process for the application software of the Siemens railway control system for the Austrian Railway.

Developed interlocking units based on relay technique for Siemens Railway Control system. Developed hardware and software for the user interface. Responsible for writing and testing safety certification.
