The Garwood Center for Corporate Innovation at UC Berkeley has developed a process to prototype a Smart Village in collaboration with the Government of India. Based in Andhra Pradesh, India, I conduct research on how Open Innovation business models address the needs of rural people and how these are ensuring new business growth in untapped markets of emerging economies for participating corporates.
