Working as Sr. Vice President Sales, Marketing & Business Development at the Ortel Mobile Group. Started working at Ortel in 2003. In the current role responsible for all Sales, Marketing, Business Development and PR activities over Ortel Mobile's footprint in Europe. The Ortel Mobile Group has local operations in the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany. Simultaniously I´m working on opening up new markets in Europe with the Ortel Mobile prepaid offering and developing business on a strategic level in the existing & new markets. Ortel Mobile is a very succesful MVNO in the ethnic segment of the mobile market in Europe. Ortel Mobile started with it´s MVNO prepaid offer in June, 2005. Expecting a total turnover of 150 million euro in 2009.

Before this, working in various Sales & Marketing postions at US based (Choice) One Communications in Indianapolis, IN. One Comunications is a CLEC mainly located in the Mid-West, Northern and North-Eastern part of the US. From 1996 until 2000 working for Axxon Telecom (later Kast Telecom) in various positions, finalizing the career at Kast Telecom as Managing Director for the Benelux market. Axxon Telecom (later Kast Telecom) started as a CLEC and competitor of the incumbants, when in 1996 the Telecommunications market was liberalized.
