Hardware related developments for power electronic components in EV/HEVs. Embedded hardware design from initial requirements to functional verification.

• Analyzing the parameters of existing 24V Power Management ICs on the market • Learning automotive related standards and customer requirements for Hardware; Conducting circuit simulations with LTSpice to determine operating conditions and component values • Designing PCB Layout with Altium Designer; testing power integrity and signal integrity for the A-Sample • Designing a conceptual full-discrete power supply for maximum Cost-Effectiveness

• Implemented an AUTOSAR Network-Management model on a HiL-Testbench with Matlab/Simulink • Developed a GUI for a CANoe-based bus simulation environment with CAPL; reduced the software testing workload significantly

• Built and calibrated an NVH-Test bench with FFT-based methods • Studied the frequency response of a seismic sensor on various surface microstructures; extended the range of usable frequency by 100% (from 10kHz to 20kHz) • Improved an End-of-Line test for Mercedes gearbox production lines; developed a standard process to optimize the accuracy and stability of the measurements in contaminated environment

• Researched an integrated turbocharger in intake-manifold (eBooster) with CAD; 3D printed a prototype for commercial exhibitions • Coordinated with NVH-Department to verify designs; conducted design reviews and prepared CAD data for simulations • Screened defective products for the Failure Mode and Effects Analysis

· Designed a punching machine for the production line of a seat angle adjuster for Magna · Analyzed safety regulations for assembly lines, implemented safety measurements during the design phase

• Concentration in Automotive Essentials and Vehicular Mechatronics; GPA 3.7 out of 5.0 (1,3 in German System)

• Concentration in Service Technology and Process; GPA 3.5 out of 5.0 • Thesis: “Design of a Driving Mechanism to Reduce the Vibration Resulting from Airflow Excitation”; the design reduced the amplitude of vibration by 3dB
