Responsible for leading the Metals Global Governance Team, and building the capability and competencies of Divisional Metals Engineering team to solve mechanical, chemical, materials and fluid flow problems that limit the performance of Corning manufacturing processes. Evaluate new technologies and equipment implementation in our processes.

Responsible for the establishment, implementation and maintenance of standard packaging processes for COC based on industry best practices. Define metrics and projects with high impact on the business. Provide coaching and mentoring to division packaging and site engineering. Continuous improvement in Quality, Cost, Logistics and Delivery across the division.

Responsible to determine of products manufacturability within our capability and improve effectiveness and cost of production processes through evaluation of: methods, equipment, layout, workflow, time standards, capacity utilization, process/equipment improvements, and process control systems. These processes are, cleaning, stamping, roll and stretch forming, plating, powder coating, and other material-processing operations.

Responsible of four Connectivity business team lines. Lead, influence and provide technical representation as a member of the Product teams at regional level. Support the GPL by effectively leveraging all available global resources. Securing and utilizing effective VOC in NPI activities. Develop, present and execute on product and process, short and long term roadmaps - striking the right balance across the project spectrum of rapid prototypes and adaptations to new platforms.

Coordinate, organize, prioritize and manage among others, manufacturing requirements, quality issues, design improvements, line expansion form PLM projects and line maintenance. Develop carrier path for all engineer and drafter positions for RY Product Development group. Project coordinator. When required, coordinate efforts between Hickory, Keller and Reynosa.

Subject Matter Expert for FTTX products produced in Reynosa facility. Collaborate on requirements evaluation with Keller facility.

Conduct research & develop NPI activities and documentation, evaluate testing results & product functionality.

Understand products and perform improvements. Support manufacturing and production on design related issues.
