For 9 years, Aroj Bhattarai has worked as a scientific employee in the field of nonlinear computational Engineering. He received his Ph.D. in engineering (Dr.-Ing.) from the University of Duisburg-Essen, Essen with a thesis on non-linear computational modeling in 2018. From 2013 to 2019, he worked as a research assistant at the FH Aachen, and from 2020 to 2022, he worked as a research associate at the University of Saarland. He has numerous scientific publications from his research on finite element simulation to optimize surgical repairs using prosthetic medical devices. He has profound experience in constructing geometrically complex 3D computer-aided designs, nonlinear finite element analysis, laboratory testing, data analysis and parametrization, nonlinear anisotropic constitutive modeling including damage, user material Fortran subroutine implementation, and homogenization of fiber-reinforced composites.
