Project Supervision for the Engineering Department reporting directly to the General Manager. This supervision consisted on re-starting a frozen project due to the pandemic, left on its intermediate stage at beginnings of 2020. My Job consisted on leading and finishing the whole project, including the remaining budget available, check and review the Design and Construction Engineering in order to lead the contractors to finalize the fabrication and assembly of a small-size Olein Processing Plant.

Responsible for team-work to win new business, exploring new avenues of activity and seeking out opportunities in order to help the company develop and grow. Main tasks included the financial management of projects, negotiating and agreeing contracts with the clients and verifying working performance so in the field as in the workshop. Also reporting directly to the CEO about the risk management as well as financial reporting depending on the market research data collection.

Responsible for team-work to achieve sales goal over U$3-million+ per year using, establishing client’s segmentation and sales strategy with key actions related with emerging markets. Exploring foreign steel markets and making inside/outside analysis developing and growing the foreign trading department in order in order to keep a competitive stock at the warehouse. Leading marketing campaigns through e-commercial skills, visiting clients periodically, exhibitions, client’s training and technical support.

Visiting and contacting clients to engage business opportunities implementing the strong technical knowledge with marketing skills, offering the strategical products seeking to fulfill the client’s need. Provided integral negotiations (price discounts, payment terms, etc.) under direct supervision of the Commercial Manager and prepared reports about market exploration, attended incoming inquiries, evaluating every case carefully and preparing client’s proposal.

When working at the beginnings as Project Coordinator, my engineering responsibilities were the Pressure Vessel Project’s engineering for construction at the workshop (ASME VIII Div.1), including AUTOCAD 2D & 3D drawings designing. I participated in many ASME and NB Certifications as a manufacture and engineering collaborator and English interpreter. Quality control inspections on survey trips to China, India, Brazil, Bolivia and inside for raw material purchasing verification during projects execution.

Lead the maintenance department with four technicians to achieve the maintenance plan goal on production, packaging line and warehouse to avoid downtimes in compliance within monthly production schedule. Managed predictive and preventive maintenance plans to ensure permanently working conditions. Created cost-benefit analysis for spares acquisition and improved repairing costs using generic reliable substitutes. Stock administration, inventory up-to-date avoiding the absence of essential spares.

Engineering projects administration to increase the production capacity in BFT (liquid agrochemicals) and DRY (powder agrochemicals) Plants. Designing ideas to improve process equipment, like increase production capacity by revamping its facilities, some of them in compliance with national environmental health regulations. Managing up to U$1.5-million budget from engineering department using new technologies applied to the production process or revamping parts/equipment in the productions facilities.
