Ensure that, as part of Corporate IT strategy, all the IT services assigned to the department IT Workspace and the associated IT systems are made available and developed further in accordance with the requirements of business units. The department’s current service portfolio primarily includes all IT Services to equip our users and businesses with corporate infrastructure for personal computers, mobile devices or peripherals.

Personal resonsibilities: Line management, strategy development and implementation, roadmapping, resource planning, people development, budgeting and cost responsibility, project and project-portfolio management, IT process Management. IT Services provided by the department: End-user focused services like Communication Services or Desktop Applications as well as applications and directory services applied in the operation and management of IT IS (e.g. IAM, CMDB, etc.).

Mission: Assure the implementation of important IT services, related tools and processes in an effective and efficient manner within Corporate IT. This includes the worldwide 1st Level support, involving the IT Hubs (Hong Kong, US, Austria) as well as all members of Local IT (30+ locations worldwide). Management of the IT IS project portfolio and provision of project management capacity.

Responsible for a staff unit, working on IT IS topics of strategical and organizational importance together with the VP IT IS (task sharing). Responsible for the service “Technical Account Management”. Member of the IT Management team.

Assistant to the Vice President IT Infrastructure Services. Focus on strategic and organizational topics and project lead for initiatives like: - Consolidation and standardization of IT IS environment and support within EMEA - IT Integration of production site in Thailand - “Mini SAP” implementation at two (small) production sites in Lithuania and Jordan.

SAP Application consultant & organization programmer, IT responsible for SAP implementations in the area of production and logistics (Wattens & Liechtenstein).

The MRP controller is responsible for material requirements planning and material availability, production planning and scheduling. These tasks are supported by an ERP system. At that time this was an in-house developed legacy system, replaced by SAP PP/MM in 1997. Beside my responsibility as MRP Controller I was also in the role of a key-user for the ERP system and contact person for IT in all related issues.
