Global P&L Responsibility for Electrical Steering Systems

Responsible for the project management and engineering of all steering products (EPS, Columns, LCV Steering, Pumps) in the NAFTA region starting with acquisition until sunset of projects.

Responsible for all global customer software projects for electrical power steering (EPS) and coordination of five international software development sites in India, the Czech Republic, the US and in Germany.

Review authority for safety analysis and safety concepts. Responsible for the harmonization of processes and the training of development engineers in the new ISO 26262 standard .

Member of an international talent program with following projects: • Innovation strategy and benchmarking, Mercedes-Benz, Stuttgart, Germany • Development of a drive simulator for active safety systems, Mercedes-Benz, Stuttgart, Germany • Plant quality and launch support, Mercedes-Benz, Tuscaloosa, US • Automatic brake system development, Mitsubishi-Fuso Trucks, Kawasaki, Japan

In Collaboration with University of Tuebingen / Daimler AG in the area of driver assisting and active safety systems. • Development of intelligent sensor data fusion and situation analysis for Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) systems.
