European FP5 Project TwinMic. -Participated in the design and building of the Twinmic X-Ray microscope. -Studied polymer systems with X-ray Microscopy using the fluorescence detection. -Developed ID21 station: sample environment, instrumentation. -Development of Web schedule using PHP and MySQL for experiment station.

Polymer thins film studied by AFM and X-ray Microscopy. Expertise in Scanning Transmission X-Ray Microscopy (STXM) and various polymer sample preparation. -Built a database of calibrated NEXAFS spectra of common polymers. -Pioneered quantitative abilities of STXM for applications to polymer system. -Investigated the phase segregation and compatibilisation phenomenon in multi-component polymer systems. -Studied the effect of mechanical confinement on freely standing polymer films.
