In October 2013, I started a joint project between the groups of Rick Livesey (Gurdon Institute) and Roger Barker (Brain Repair Centre / Clinical Neurosciences) that aims to use patient-specific iPSCs to model neurodegeneration and dementia in human-based cell culture systems. From 2012 to 2013, I worked on rotation projects focusing on the biology of embryonic or adult stem cells as part of the Wellcome Trust 4 Year PhD Programme in Stem Cell Biology and Medicine at the Cambridge Stem Cell Institute.
