• Be the focal point of contact for the end user (Thales) and interface with the production team in India (Larsen and Toubro). • Obtain a complete understanding of the client's needs (quality norms, delivery deadlines etc.) and prepare internal and external reports. • Create and manage action plans (delivery dates, acceptance from end user and production teams). • Validate electronic and mechanical components before registering them in the Thales Component Information System.

• Prospection of the local market for potential clients and their technical problems. • Development of a commercial message and maintaining relations using CRM tools. • Development of the website and translation of information.

• Understanding of mechatronic drive systems and powertrain mechanics and modelling of a nonlinear system and validation in a MATLAB and SIMULINK environment. • Development of model predictive control algorithm, law and performing MIL (Model in Loop) simulation of performance. Comparative studies with other control algorithm types (robust control etc.) • Design of an effective Human Machine Interface using Simulink for easy access to system for future use.

• Team lead of a group of 4 interns for the project and responsible for designing of the hardware of the system including sensor design, modelling and simulation. • Testing and validation was performed on MIL and HIL systems comprising of engines and associated sensors for different performance ranges and constraints. • System used on test benches (National Instruments field point modules) with real time data acquisition systems used in high performance diesel engine testbenches.
