Responsible for the implementation and coordination of the on-site Vehicle Distribution service provider, yard layout and process flow design and setup, regular status review of construction and equipment, creation of KPIs, supervision of truck and rail operations on-site, yearly budget planning, quality check and approval of service-related invoices.

Coordination of tendering process for on-site logistics service providers. Creation of relevant documentation, definition of premises according to BMW Group standards, bidders screening and selection, technical clarification rounds, change request management and implementation of service after nomination.

Purchase of components, toolings and molds. RFQ and Purchase Contracts. Yearly price negotations and payment conditions. Quarterly price update for Zinc-based components. Development of cost saving strategies. Resourcing of import components in NAFTA market. Approval of new components and suppliers. VDA audits.

Responsible to coordinate and review the activities and results of Production Control & Logistics team. Coordination of the different warehouses and the personnel. Guarantee the proper feeding of materials in the production lines to avoid any downtime. Implementation of lean manufacturing practices. Production lines balancing. MRO supervision.

Responsible to assure on-time acquisition and arrival of productive materials according to the customer requirements and production capacity. Transportation arrangements and monitoring. Production programming and control. Inventory control of raw materials and finished goods. Assure shipments on-time to customers. Customer Service. MRO purchasing.
