HR Projects, Policies & Risk Specialist (60-100%)

Your role and responsibilities
Leading various HR Operations projects in Switzerland, including Merger & Acquisition activities, to enhance HR processes and service delivery. Managing HR Risk and Internal Control, ensuring compliance with GDPR and maintaining local HR policies in line with legal changes. Acting as the HR communications expert, ensuring timely and professional updates to employees and line managers. Overseeing and improving HR process knowledge and documentation, including managing and writing SOPs. Keeping HR content updated and managing performance metrics by analyzing and communicating KPIs to stakeholders. Supporting HR Operations Management in Switzerland with administrative, organizational, and coordination tasks. Handling selected operational tasks to support daily business needs. Participating in the HR Transformation Program to implement Workday and uphold ABB’s core values of safety and integrity.
Qualifications for the role
- Bachelor’s degree in a business discipline (BWL) or in Human Resources (HR) management.
- Professional background in HR with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a comparable role in HR and proven track record and experience in a project management or process improvement role.
- Good level of knowledge in Swiss rules and regulations in HR disciplines (e.g. employment law, social security, etc.), experience and good level of knowledge in Workday and/or SAP HCM is a strong plus.
- Connected thinking, strong analytical and conceptual skills.
- Flexible personality with a very strong service, customer, and result-orientation as well as structured and efficient way of working as well as ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in usage of all kinds of MS Office products (Excel, Power Point, Word, Teams, OneNote, etc.)
- Very good written and spoken skills in German and English are a must.
