Application Engineer Forming Tools (gn)
Your Responsibilities
- Apply Forming Tool coating portfolio to application and customer projects
- Develop and adapt coating recipes to the application need and successfully hand the finalized concept over to production
- Monitor, guide and advise Global Forming Tool key projects
- Support Forming Tool sales and local Forming Tool customers solution centers (CSC) with technical advice
- Develop knowledge in pre- and post-coat-treatments for forming tools in cooperation with our production technology team
- Document key customer service centers projects for future reference
Your Profile
- Technical degree in material science, physics or chemistry
- Technical knowledge in surface engineering, vacuum and coating technology
- Experience in coatings and coating technology for hard films beneficial
- Experience in metal or plastic forming operations beneficial
- Background/experience with carbon based coatings is a plus
- First experience in project management
- Fluent in English, additional languages beneficial
- Willingness to travel (up to 30 %)
