Task and responsibilities:
- Acting as an interface between manufacturing, supply management and engineering
- Evaluation of non conformances (QN) and deviation reports of the production segments and their suppliers in terms of design and material-related aspects
- Decision on the use, repair or scrapping of the affected components
- Development and documentation of repair solutions considering the boundary conditions of the manufacturing and supporting on-time delivery
- Participation in Design Reviews providing technical know-how in design and manufacturing
- Evaluation and providing technical solutions for product definition errors/manufacturing requests (EECM, Bsol)
Knowledge:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or comparable engineering/ technical field
- Expertise in Design technology, strength calculation, materials technology, manufacturing technology, non-destructive testing methods
- Knowledge in gas turbines (preferably all frames, all components)
- Knowledge in SAP/CAD
- Network within EN (manufacturing/purchasing desirable)
- Customer- and results- oriented
- High flexibility, independent working
- Interested in production (due to production-related teamwork)
- Fluent in German and English
