About the Job
We’re looking for a Head of Business Analytics (m/f/d) to join our Data & Analytics team and support us in further elevating data maturity in Project A’s investment portfolio & beyond. Help us turn our data assets into real business impact.
In your day-to-day work you will be responsible for the acquisition & supervision of challenging Data & Analytics projects across a variety of industries, company sizes & data maturity levels. On top of that you will receive the opportunity to further develop our Analytics team, a group of gifted business & data analysts that put real business value above everything else.
Our Data and Analytics team enables our portfolio companies to grow sustainably as they shift from intuitive to objective decision-making through reliable data collection, proper data infrastructure implementation, and effective data initiatives.

In this role, you’ll:
- Close the “business gap” by ensuring our solutions are aligned to business strategy, well adopted, and used as intended by stakeholders & end-users
- Support senior stakeholders in identifying the role of Data & Analytics in their business through strategic work
- Scope, supervise & operationally lead a variety of complex projects in both digital transformation and innovation
- Accelerate career development within our Analytics Team
- Be essential in building out one of Europe’s “most capable Data and Analytics teams” further (quote not by us)
Your Profile
- Experience in leading data projects in both corporate and startup environments (consulting experience is a plus)
- Well-versed in the “Modern Data Stack”- architecture, data analyses with strong focus & expertise in business enablement
- Good understanding of the different roles & profiles along the data lifecycle
- Solid opinions on analytics concepts, but flexible in their application
- Experience in leading a team or mentoring junior colleagues
- Growth mindset with a passion to know more tomorrow than yesterday
- High level of coachability, flexibility and cooperation
- Strong sense of emotional intelligence
- Business fluency in English and German is required
Please note that we are looking for support in our Berlinoffice. Eligibility to work within the EU is required as well.
