Junior Marketing Specialist and Event Manager , DACH
Role
In this role , you'll play an important role in supporting our marketing and event agenda across the DACH ( Germany, Austria and Switzerland) region . You'll primarily be responsible for helping to organize our participation and presence at events , create content for our social media channels and draft & translate content for our website.
This role is perfect for someone who wants to learn and can roll-up their sleeves to support our marketing agenda. We are on the lookout for individuals who are passionate about what they do and are keen to make a mark.
Th is role will sit within the marketing team and collaborate with peers across Europe and around the globe .
Responsibilities
Prepare and coordinate our participation in various events, ensuring materials and activities are organi z ed efficiently.
Coordinate event promotion, registration, and attendee communication to drive participation and engagement.
Coordinate and Manage customer events, visits workshops happening in the new German office and maintain a regular schedule/calendar of customer visits.
Assist in the creation and curation of engaging content for social media platforms such as LinkedIn and Twitter.
Assist with the creation, translation and posting of content to the website
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop event strategies aligned with marketing and business objectives .
Stay updated on industry trends, competitor events, and best practices to bring innovative ideas and creativity to both marketing and event management practices.
Experience and Skills
Bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in marketing , Communication, or related field, or equivalent experience.
1-2 years of marketing experience required , ideally in the B2B and/or tech space
Ability to plan, organize, monitor and execute multiple projects
Self-starter & hands-on mentality – this role requires someone who can roll up their sleeves
Curiosity and eagerness to learn
Strong organisational skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Highly organized and ability to work in a fast-moving, international, complex matrix environment
Fluency in German and English
