Data Analyst (m/f/d)
In this position, you will support the IT organization team as a team player with a hands-on mentality in analyzing and interpreting data in order to make informed decisions and gain business insights.
Your tasks:
- Bundling, analyzing and interpreting data sets from different sources according to business requirements
- Development and implementation of databases, data collection systems, data analysis software and other tools
- Testing and integrating analytical models and methods with the aim of identifying meaningful data patterns, deviations or trends
- Preparation of evaluations, reports and presentations
- Interface management and close cooperation with various departments in order to understand data requirements and derive suitable solutions from them
- Continuous improvement of data-driven business and analysis processes and methods
Your profile:
Completed studies in statistics, mathematics, natural or economic sciences, computer science, or a comparable education with relevant focuses that give you the ability to create valuable products from data
- Technical know-how and profound experience in data management, preferably in a corporate environment
- Solid database knowledge and proven SQL experience (modeling and queries)
- Proven experience in dealing with data analysis, data mining techniques and data visualization tools in database query languages (e.g. SQL)
- A strong analytical thinking and abstraction ability as well as the ability to quickly grasp complex relationships and present them in a comprehensible manner
- A high level of problem-solving and result-oriented working methods coupled with strong methodological skills characterized by a high level of customer and service orientation
