The group owns a refinery in Switzerland, a majority share of a refinery in Germany, more than 50 (bio)fuels storage facilities throughout Switzerland, Germany, France and the Benelux and has the logistical expertise and infrastructure to transport products from the refineries and the terminals to its customers. .
We are looking for an Barge Demurrage Analyst (fulltime) to join our Barge Demurrage, Contracts and Admin team . Within this team you will be collaborating with colleagues in our Rotterdam office . In this role you are, together with your direct colleagues you are responsible to continiously flag and calculate demurrage-claims within our Group.
YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- In your day to day work you will process demurrage claims with your extensive knowledge of demurrage regulations and use this knowledge in the negotiations with barge owners and counterparts.
- You will be involved in our strategic decisions about sourcing, blending and provide the input on your part of expertize.
- Collaboration is key to get the best results over the whole supply chain, so you will work together with colleagues from other departments in the Netherlands, Germany or Switzerland to get things done and achieve the best chain result.
- Also you have your part in optimizing processes & guidelines within the Group Supply Chain organization.
YOUR PROFILE
In order to fulfill the role the ideal candidate meets the following criteria:
MBO degree or higher preferably in the commercial or logistics area
At least 4 years of professional experience in a similar role preferably in the oil industry
