In order to support the cabin department, Airbus Commercial is looking for a
Lavatory Version Engineer (d/f/m)
The Lavatory Version Engineering is responsible for the realization of a customer specific lavatory definition and integration of the Lavatory Module into the aircraft, always under consideration of Airbus processes and requirements, selected customer configuration, valid Airworthiness requirements and the latest technical evolution. The Lavatory Version Engineer shall work cross-Programme.
The job requires an independent and reliable working attitude and is characterized by a high level of interdisciplinary work between teams, companies and countries.
This role is also available with reduced weekly hours and an adapted scope of tasks.

Your tasks and responsibilities
Perform feasibility studies for specific customer requests and provide support to guide Airline customers
Creation of customer specifications and installation drawings incl. FAL&MAP support under consideration of efficient subcontractor management
Perform supplier management incl. leading of design reviews and ensure on-time and on-quality availability of suppliers deliverables within the FCO process
Technical representation of Airbus when conducting negotiations and monitoring of the suppliers worldwide to deliver according to Airbus schedule
Check of qualification documentation
Other work priorities will include:
Support Digital Design, Manufacturing & Services’ (DDMS) platforms across all Functions to define, deploy and support applications that prepare the next generation of product and industrial platforms
Support x-Program harmonization and process optimization initiatives for increasing efficiency
Desired skills and qualifications
Educated to degree level in engineering or a related discipline
Very good command in creating 3D models, drawings
Experienced in mastering the Airbus PDM and PLM tools
Proficient experience in interacting with suppliers and customers
Ability to constantly develop new ideas
Good communication skills
High level of self-motivation
Attention for quality
Language Skills: negotiation level of German and English
