Your tasks

• You are ensu ring that the area of responsibility is organized, staffed, skilled and directed. You are g uid ing , motivat ing and develop ing direct/indirect subordinates within HR policies. You are e ffect ing the decisions of people in the function’s scope of activities in cooperation with Business and Global Markets organizations .
• You are managing , through others, all activities of a significant part of the value chain function from parts of Sales Inventory Operations Planning and execution of day to day supply chain .
• You are contribu ting to the global supply chain strategy and transform ing it into a functional strategy by setting objectives, key performance indicators as well as short- and long-term plans and ensuring regular measurement and reporting .
• You are p repar ing and manag ing the annual value chain budget for a significant part of the function .
• You are acting as expert to the senior management and ensur ing that technical expertise and advice is available where needed to proactively manage value chain issues and constraints.
• You are l iais ing with key suppliers and key accounts to establish strategic relationships and alliances and ensure a steady flow of supplies.
• You are a nticipat ing , initiat ing and implementing c hanges to value chain operations to continuously improve the organization.
• You are maintainin , develop ing - and further improv ing the BU specific Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning and Forecast process .
• You are d esign ing , support ing and further develop ing of supply chain planning processes, systems, and key performance indicators .
• You are r esponsib le for Finished Goods order handling and scheduling in terms of quantities and deadlines .
• You are l eading strategic projects to further improve the order fulfillment process and the availability of F inished G oods.
• You are implementing product launch activities in close cooperation with the Product Management and Sales departments.
• You are a nticipat ing and implement ing necessary changes to the strategy and process to support growth and commitments to customers.
• You are m aintain ing an external awareness and perspective and act ing as the acknowledged Business unit expert, with consulting responsibility on functional area knowledge and trends.
• You d rive a culture of continuous improvement.

Your profile

• Sucessfully completed studies or adequate qualification , in the best case you have successfully graduated M BA.
• Multiple years progressive experience managing and directing a global Supply Chain organization with multiple sites; minimum 5-years in a senior leadership role in a large corporation.
• Having a strong understanding of Operations excellence, Supply Chain network optimization, Sales Inventory, Operational Planning, Product and SKU management.
• Ideally you will bring prior experience in a well-regarded, global manufacturing and technology businesses of scale (strong preference for globally complex value chain footprints).
• You should also be experienced in Lean Operating Systems, Manufacturing optimizations, ERP systems.
• Experienced in Stakeholder management and navigating within a Matrix.
• Proven record of accomplishment in Value chain with demonstrated ability to articulate a future vision business plan and profitability while meeting and/or exceeding corporate goals
• You are an exceptionally strong strategic and analytical thinker
• You are able to p ossess personal qualities of integrity credibility and commitment to the organizational values
