Description:

In the position as Product Development Chemist, your chemical expertise and creativity are required for the development of new products and their analytical investigation, as well as for optimizing the existing product portfolio. You will oversee products in the Fine Chemicals sector from laboratory scale to scale-up in production and support technical product approval with customers.

Your main Tasks:

• Participation in product development projects (gas phase reactions, distillations, etc.)
• Chemical and physical analyses and testing of manufactured products
• Preparation of large-scale operational trials by following checklists regarding chemical, safety, and formal requirements
• Providing support to production during the execution of operational trials

Your qualifications and personal characteristics:

• Relevant chemical education (university/technical college/polytechnic), and/or experience or specialization in organic synthesis chemistry
• Responsible handling of hazardous substances
• Ideally, prior experience in laboratory synthesis and wet-chemical analysis
• Team spirit, accuracy, and reliability
• Proficiency in MS Office programs, and proficiency in written and spoken English
• Structured and precise work approach, initiative, and teamwork
