YOUR TASKS
Within the Sales area of our business group Lighting, you will be responsible for actively forming the international lighting and electronics service part business for our OEM customers from concept phase to up to 15 years after end of series production.
- You analyze your customer and service part portfolio regarding profitability and optimization potential.
- You develop, implement and track measures towards customers to maximize results.
- You lead cost-based price negotiations.
- Together with customers and program management you define requirements for spare parts and prepare quotations accordingly.
- You coordinate global projects for sustainable business process optimization.
- You will act as an interface to all areas involved in the afterseries sales processes (program management, engineering, quality management, costing, etc.) and steer the global escalation interface between customer and Forvia.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
- University degree as industrial engineer, mechanical engineering, or in business administration
- Several years of automotive experience with strong negotiation skills, high data affinity and MS Excel competence
- A high level of commercial competence and experience in leading negotiations around complex electronic & lighting products with international OEMs
- Entrepreneurial thinking and acting, team orientation, assertiveness, and implementation skills
- Willingness to carry out global projects as well as business-fluent German and English skills
- High service orientation towards all stakeholders: customers and production plants
- Ability to travel as required to meet with customers, attend industry events and visit production facilities
