Functional Software Engineer (m/f/x)

- Participation in the creation of development plans
- Analysis of system requirements and architecture for the creation of software requirements in Polarion
- Creation of architecture concepts with regard to reusability
- Creation of the software architecture with Enterprise Architect and transfer to Polarion
- Implementation of the architecture in DaVinci Developer/ SystemDesk
- Development of software with Matlab/ Simulink/ TargetLink
- Validation of the software using MES MXAM
- Carrying out system tests, e.g. on the vehicle, and documenting the results
- Error analysis of existing software and support in testing

- Completed studies in the field of mechatronics / computer science / automotive engineering or comparable qualification
- Technical training is an advantage
- Experience in software development in the automotive sector
- Understanding of mechatronic systems/ vehicle systems
- Knowledge of vehicle bus systems (CAN, LIN, Flexray, Automotive Ethernet)
- Experience with battery management systems (BMS)
- Experience with ALM tools such as Polarion
- Experience in the field of model-based software development with Matlab/ Simulink and TargetLink
- Experience in using Vector tools such as CANape, CANoe, vFlash and DaVinci Developer as well as dSpace tools such as SystemDesk
- Experience in static model analysis with MXAM and code analysis for MISRA
- Automotive SPICE and ISO 26262 process experience
- Experience in the AUTOSAR development environment
- Good knowledge of German and English
- Good knowledge of the C programming language
- Knowledge of the Python programming language is an advantage
