Your tasks
- You will take care of setting up, maintaining and optimizing the infrastructure and data pipelines to store, process and manage data efficiently and reliably
- You perform data quality checks to identify and resolve problems
- You optimize queries and fine-tune systems to improve performance
- You will diagnose and resolve technical issues related to the data stack as L3 support
- They help migrate the remaining on-prem tables and jobs to the cloud
- You will interact with the Data Product Owner, Power BI Specialist, Business Analyst and other data experts to set up and configure the necessary data systems and infrastructure
- You define and document data structures, standards and best practices
- They help data consumers understand the available data and its intricacies
Your skills
- Experience with cloud data warehousing solutions and databases such as Azure Synapse and Data Lake
- Good programming skills, especially in languages such as SQL and PySpark
- Deep understanding of ELT processes and data modeling
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure and their data related services
- Familiarity with handling sensitive and proprietary information with discretion and professionalism
- (Nice to have) Proficiency in big data tools and frameworks such as Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, etc.
- A strong customer orientation
- You are a team player with a high sense of responsibility, initiative and 100% willingness for continuous development
- very good knowledge of English
