Software Development Engineer – Acute Dialysis Systems (m/f/d)

Your assignments:
- Development of software, especially source codes in the programming languages C/C++
- Development of embedded and/or application components
- Detailed design of software components per architecture
- Development of software requirements from system/product requirements
- Development and execution of software tests, especially unit tests and integration tests
- Conducting code reviews and countermeasures review
- Support the development of software system test procedures as part of the verification of software and device functions
- Preparation of the necessary documentation to contribute to software safety and cyber security risk analysis
- Execution of error analyses and developer tests
- Working and cooperation with external partners /developers
Your profile:
- Successfully completed studies in computer science, electrical engineering, physics, physical engineering, medical technology, or similar field of specialization
- Experience in software development (ideally experience with embedded controllers like iMXRT1064)
- Programming knowledge in C/C++
- Experience in scripting languages (Perl, Python) as well as knowledge of agile software development approaches, preferably SCRUM desirable
- Experienced in various software testing methodologies (unit testing, integration testing, software system testing, regression testing, etc.)
- Knowledge regarding requirements for software development in functional safety
- Knowledge regarding the secure (cyber security) development of software
- Familiar with software architecture modelling tools such as Enterprise Architect, software configuration management tools such as DevOps, Subversion and Git
- Structured way of working and good organizational skills
- High degree of reliability and personal responsibility
- Fluent in English and German language, both in written and spoken
- Willingness for occasional business trips in the national or international area
