In Chemicals & Materials, OMV through its subsidiary Borealis, is one of the world's leading providers of advanced and circular polyolefin solutions and a European market leader in base chemicals and plastics recycling. Together with its two major joint ventures - Borouge (with ADNOC, in the UAE and Singapore) and Baystar™ (with TotalEnergies, in the USA) - Borealis supplies products and services to customers across the globe. OMV's Fuels & Feedstock business produces and markets fuels as well as feedstock for the chemical industry, operates three refineries in Europe, and holds a 15% stake in a refining joint venture in the UAE. OMV operates around 1,700 filling stations in eight European countries. In the Energy segment, OMV explores and produces oil and gas in the four core regions of Central and Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa, North Sea, and Asia-Pacific. Average daily production in 2022 amounted to 392 kboe/d. Its activities also include the Low Carbon Business as well as the entire gas business.
- Execute risk-based inspection (RBI), Re-RBI and integrity operating window (IOW) programs at all OMV refinery sites working closely with on-site staff and subject matter experts.
- Perform yearly planning of assigned RBI/IOW projects, execute and communicate results in time in budget.
- Single point of contact for assigned activities in cooperation with OMV refinery sites.
- Set up a QM framework for definition, monitoring, and maintaining the IOWs.
- Establish sampling plans and laboratory analyses for the verification of parameters determining the RBI/IOW.
- Support revision of RBI/IOW guidelines and ensure common philosophy within working area.
- Manage RBI/IOW tools and software and support improvement.
- Setup and maintain a strong network across refineries for cohesive RBI execution.
- Provide technical advice and support inspection and integrity department during turnarounds and maintenance activities.
- Prioritize health, safety, security, and environmental protection in the workplace, participate in HSSE trainings, and promote integration into company culture
Your profile
- You have a Master Degree in Chemistry, Material Science, Process Engineering or similar.
- You have minimum 7 years of relevant professional experience.
- Detailed know-how of the american standards APIs 571, 579, 580, 581 and API584.
- Detailed know-how of metallurgy, materials, process technologies relevant for refineries.
- Full utilization of IT and 3D-modelling tools.
- Fluent in written and spoken English language, German and Romanian are of advantage.
- Strategic thinking.
- Must be available for business traveling
