Grid Connection and Commissioning Engineer (m/f/x)

As an electrical engineer/grid connection and commissioning, you will be the member of the project team mainly responsible for the electrical implementation of the grid connection and its commissioning for complex and varied ground-mounted photovoltaic systems, including systems with storage solutions.
Involvement in the planning and project engineering of PV projects:
- Advising and in parts testing in low/medium voltage systems, grid connection, SCADA
Collaboration in the realization of PV projects:
- Coordination with suppliers, service providers, energy suppliers/grid operators and other stakeholders on electrotechnical matters
- Quality assurance and review of electrotechnical documentation prior to commissioning, including approval of the "as built” situation
- Coordination, monitoring and implementation of commissioning of grid connections/PV systems (in some cases including SCADA)
You bring with you – 100% You
- Successfully completed studies in the field of energy technology/electrical engineering or comparable qualification as a state-certified technician or master craftsman
- Several years of professional experience in electrical engineering construction desirable, preferably in photovoltaic system construction
- Practical experience in the field of electrical installation and IT system technology
- Experience in grid connection according to DIN VDE 4110 and 4120
- Experience in working with the energy supply company or distribution network operator (e.g. Bayernwerk, MitNetz, Avacon, ...)
- Experience in the planning and realization of utility-scale PV systems, i.e. with ground-mounted systems (preferably in a size of 10-100MWp)
- Medium-voltage switching operations qualification is an advantage
- Structured and independent way of working combined with teamwork and communication skills
- You are goal-oriented and skilled in problem-solving
- Very good written and spoken German skills (at least C1) are a prerequisite, good written and spoken English skills are an advantage
- You have knowledge of energy distribution technology (medium voltage, low voltage, protection/safety technology, measurement technology)
- Confident handling of MS Office
- Knowledge of AutoCAD is an advantage
- Available to travel nationally (~60-100%)
