Explored waste management systems in European countries and proposed improvements for Russian waste management practices. In my master’s thesis, the application of resource-saving technologies in the operation and reclamation of solid municipal waste disposal sites was investigated. Additionally, methods for managing gas emissions at municipal solid landfills in the Leningrad Region, Russia, were recommended.

Researched ways of soil remediation and provided solutions to prevent spills of oil and oil products. The study aimed to enhance the efficiency of reclaiming oil-contaminated lands in the Far North regions. It involved site characterization, data compilation, interpretation, geographical presentation, and data management for different soil types. Through the bachelor's graduation project, a reclamation plan for soils with reduced biogenic activity was successfully implemented.
