An enthusiast for Automation, Electronics and foreign languages. I am eager to be a part of the engineering fleet that will lead us to a smarter, safer and more sustainable everyday life. Even if this is only achievable at a small, local level. With this in mind, I have started my education in the field of Electrical Engineering at the University of Ljubljana after finishing the First Grammar School in Zenica, B&H. During my bachelor studies I have had amazing opportunities to broaden my research skills in the Laboratory of Biocybernetics as well as tutoring skills for Mathematics. Driven by my interest to practice a new foreign language and explore another country, I applied for an Erasmus Internship Exchange, after which I started working as part of the R&D team in MRK-Systeme GmbH in Germany.

Working full time as a part of the research and development team of a company focused on industrial robotic solutions. My work within this internship is mainly focused on the field of Electronics as most of my tasks consist of C embedded programming for microcontrollers from the Renesas group and basic experiments with measurement equipment. I have also had a chance to work with many new technologies such as ROS2 in combination with the new Raspberry Pi Model 4B operating on Linux.

The project I was working on, Early detection of arc signals for electroporators, is still ongoing. Therefore I intend to continue volunteering in this laboratory and to explore my interests for the world of science and technology during my upcoming postgraduate studies. My tasks included Matlab coding, literature research and signal processing after conducting real life experiments as well as COMSOL simulations.
